Emergencies disrupt First Nation communities every year. Each emergency can have lasting effects, therefore, being at the forefront of emergency preparedness can limit or prevent certain disasters, save lives, reduce fears, and make it easier to recover. Communities and families should know what to do in the event of an emergency, whether it be a natural disaster or an infrastructure breakdown.
This event is designed for emergency management professionals to learn, share and prepare for future emergencies, keeping their communities safe.
